Rarely does an opportunity arise to experience something truly extraordinary
-The largest festival in the world, the Kumbh Mela, is an extraordinary showcase of India's spiritual and cultural tapestry. It welcomes some 200 million people worldwide to experience dynamic and mystical rituals and celebrations. Embark on a journey of discovery with Amrit Singh, our MD, as your guide to the heartland of India. Feel the palpable energy and solemnity of a gathering of millions, united by spirituality, irrespective of individual beliefs.
-We organise vantage points for our guests to experience the elaborate processions, bathing rituals, and celebratory feasts. You will have opportunities to meet some holy men and even engage in philosophical discussion, should you wish. You will experience the spectacular evening aarti in which priests chat hymns to the sound of bells and conch horns on the banks of the river or wander through the numerous pop-ups that sprout, exhibiting local artisan arts, crafts, and street food. Yoga, classical music, dance, and art classes are also available.
-In addition to the Maha Kumbh, you will also visit Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in the world, the British Residency at Lucknow and venture into the serene and beautiful Himalayan mountains at Haridwar, close to the source of the Ganges and of course, the Historic city of Delhi.
