Kanha National Park, North & Central India, India
A professionally run and friendly mid-range lodge close to the park’s Kisli gate, Wild Chalet is conveniently located for early-morning safaris. The ochre-walled, red-tiled chalets are all spacious, immaculately clean and attractively set up inside, with wicker furniture to lounge on and the added bonus of pretty views through the trees of the adjacent Banjar River, which attracts plenty of wildlife in the dry season. TransIndus guests regular comment on the friendliness of the staff, and quality and variety of the meals prepared by the lodge’s cooks, down to the packed breakfasts you’ve given for morning game drives.
