Located in the smart Bani Park district of the city, this stately town house has rooms and suites ranged over five storeys, most of them with little balconies facing a lush, lawned garden full of frangipani and tamarind trees. The interiors are plush in a very Rajasthani way, featuring richly carved four-posters, polished marble floors and stucco arches. The most impressive décor, however, is reserved for the central hall, where ancestral portraits gaze from intricately painted walls below a sparkling 19th-century mirrorwork ceiling. The place is part of a small, local chain. It's very professionally run and offers exceptional value for money.
