With firsthand experience travelling through Europe and Southeast Asia, Cameron Hagan brings youthful excitement to his role as Marketing Executive at TransIndus. After graduating Nottingham Trent University with a 1st class honours in Marketing, Cameron spent two years in property marketing before deciding to travel to Europe and Southeast Asia. Having returned after loving the experience of travelling, Cameron pursued a career in the field, which is where his TransIndus journey began in late 2024.

"Vietnam holds a special place in my heart. Having been there with friends, family and during solo travelling, I have so many unforgettable memories across the country. From trekking through the sweeping valleys and incredible scenery of Sapa, to relaxing on the gentle beaches of Hoi An, to canyoning down immense waterfalls in Da Lat - my time in Vietnam was superb."
Favourite Hidden Gem
"If you like nature, you'll love Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. River tours across beautiful clear water with incredible limestone formations, wildlife spottings on day or night tours through the jungle, and just a lovely vibe to the park in general.
Another contender would be the the APOPO Visitor Center in Siem Reap, which is a museum about how Cambodia have trained rats to detect bombs which were left from the Vietnam war - a method proven far more effective than metal detectors. A fascinating day trip for history buffs which I would highly recommend if you are in Siem Reap!"
Travel Tip
"If you're unsure whether to do an experience because of time or money, my advice is try to do it if you can! It's much better to do as much as you can while you're out there, than leave your holiday thinking 'I wish I did that'."
