Nepal is the land of mountains and monasteries, offering a perfect fusion of nature, culture, and adventure. Framed by the majestic Himalayan range in the north, the country is shaped by roaring rivers flowing through hills and plains, lush green paddy fields, and charming villages scattered across the landscape. Its natural beauty leaves a lasting impression, while its spiritual depth invites travelers to explore the land of mystics and mantras and experience a journey unlike any other.

From rugged trails and breathtaking viewpoints to river rafting and encounters with wildlife in their natural habitats, Nepal offers an adrenaline rush for every nature-loving traveler. Considered as the mythical Shangri-La by many, the country also reveals a mystical side through its medieval city squares, ancient monasteries, and sacred temples. The Kathmandu Valley is home to remarkable UNESCO World Heritage sites, centuries-old stupas, and architectural treasures that reflect an enduring civilization. Complementing these experiences is the warmth, hospitality, and kindness of the Nepalese people, who welcome visitors with genuine respect wherever they travel.

Remember, this trip can be personalised to suit your travel needs - we can tailor everything from hotel, travel type, duration and more.

Suggested itinerary

Day 1
Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative meets you after immigration and customs, then transfers you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Evening is free for dining at local cafes and restaurants.

Note: Extra days in Kathmandu may be needed for Upper Mustang permits, requiring hard passport copies by 10 a.m. on office days (Sun-Thu, Fri mornings, all-day Sat, closed holidays). Overnight at Marriott International, Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu

Start with breakfast at the hotel, then head to Boudhanath stupa - a UNESCO site, one of Nepal's largest spherical stupas on the ancient Tibet-Kathmandu trade route, surrounded by monasteries, rebuilt post-earthquake - for a Hi Lama Welcome with monk interaction and blessings via eco-friendly Himalayan scarf.

Continue to Patan Durbar Square (arts city 5km south, over 1,000 carved monuments, temples, palace museum with courtyards like Sundari Chowk's royal bath, ongoing reconstruction) featuring a singing bowls session with their healing Tibetan/Nepalese vibrations.

In the afternoon, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square (UNESCO palace complex where kings were crowned, with temples, courtyards, Kumari goddess temple, Hanuman Dhoka entrance, earthquake-damaged but featuring Taleju Bhawani). End with a walking tour through Ason spice market to bustling Thamel for shopping. Overnight at Marriott International (B).

Day 3
Kathmandu - Pokhara

After breakfast, drive west to Pokhara, Nepal's serene third-largest city at 827m, renowned for its lakes like Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa, panoramic Himalayan views, World Peace Pagoda, Devi's Falls, and as the Annapurna trek gateway, divided by the Seti Gandaki River with ample green space.

Expect some bumpy intervals from Kathmandu-Mugling highway expansion, but the magical lakeside serenity rewards the journey. Arrive around 3pm for check-in and leisure. Overnight at Temple Tree Resort & Spa (B).

Day 4
Pokhara - Thasang

Depart after breakfast through the widening Kali Gandaki Valley, glimpsing Nilgiri Himal beyond Tatopani (lunch at Natural Spring), with Dhaulagiri and Annapurna rising ahead, arriving at the spectacularly perched Thasang Lodge above the valley.
