Day 1
Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo, where shimmering towers, lantern lit streets and the gentle rhythm of neighbourhood life set the tone for your journey.

Transfer from Narita or Haneda with English speaking assistance and settle into the bayside district, known for its calm waterfront paths and easy access to the city’s highlights. The evening is free to explore, unwind or enjoy dinner nearby.

Day 2
Tokyo Highlights

Visit Senso ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, and enjoy a hands on sushi making experience that brings Japan’s culinary traditions to life.

Begin with sweeping views from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building before stepping into the quiet forest of Meiji Shrine. Continue through Harajuku and Omotesando, where modern style meets creative street culture. Travel by the clean and efficient Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway throughout the day.

Day 3
Nikko Excursion by Express Train

Day 4
Tokyo to Hakone | Lake Ashi Cruise

Send your luggage ahead to Kyoto and travel with your guide to Shinjuku for the express train to Hakone and a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi.

Use your Hakone Free Pass to explore the region’s open landscapes, beginning with a cruise on Lake Ashi. Continue by ropeway to Owakudani for views of steaming valleys and volcanic ridges. Dinner is served at your ryokan, offering a peaceful end to the day.

Day 5
Hakone to Himeji and Kyoto

Return to Odawara and board the Shinkansen (bullet train) for a smooth journey west to Himeji.

Visit Himeji Castle, Japan’s most iconic fortress, followed by a stroll through the tranquil ponds and landscaped paths of Kokoen Garden. Continue by bullet train to Kyoto, where lantern lit streets, wooden townhouses and centuries old traditions create a timeless atmosphere for your stay.

Day 6
Nara Excursion

Travel by express train to Nara, Japan’s first capital and home to some of its most important cultural treasures.

Kyoto’s Golden Temples | Tea Ceremony

Discover Kyoto’s most celebrated landmarks, beginning with the shimmering Golden Pavilion at Kinkaku ji.

Kyoto to Hiroshima and Miyajima
