As well as the must-see monuments of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, it ventures to many beautiful off-the-beaten-track locations, including mosaic tile, wood carving and embroidery workshops, and a number of lesser-visited historic sites we can expect to have to ourselves. As ever, transport will be in comfortable, air-conditioned coaches or minibuses, and you’ll be staying in luxurious, four-star hotels or equivalent. Maximum group size will be 16.
