Our preferred standard-grade option in Thimpu is centrally located, close the main handicraft emporia and square. Its room, which come in three categories, vary in size but not so much in levels of comfort. Although lacking any definable Bhutanese character, the hotel offers an affordable four-star foothold in the capital. Breakfasts is a generous buffet featuring pancakes and eggs cooked to order, as well as toast and Indian options.
