Kintamani is known for the Mount Batur Peak, the second highest mountain in Bali. The mountain makes for a great walk and offers stunning panoramic views.

Nearby Lake Batur has a hot spring and the locals have a tradition where it is believed to be able to cure skin problems. The area is as picturesque as Swiss countryside yet possesses a different charm.
