Known as ‘Vietnam’s Rice Bowl’, The Mekong Delta is one of the most intensively farmed, densely inhabited regions in Asia. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an extensive network of underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They were built by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War and served as a crucial base of operations for their resistance against American and South Vietnamese forces.

During your excursion you will see first-hand the intricacies of the tunnels, as well as the innovative traps which the Viet Cong set for the enemy. You will also have the opportunity to crawl through the tunnels yourself and pose for a picture - although there is no obligation to do so, particularly if you are claustrophobic!
